My 1966 Mercedes Benz 230SL 2.5L Euro model roadster with a 4 speed manual transmission. This is an excellent driver level vehicle that can be easily driven to work, the club, or a weekend getaway.Vehicle is a beautiful Mercedes Benz red with black interior. It comes with both hard and soft tops, and appears to have received a cosmetic restoration at some point in it’s life (although not to “concours” standards). Vehicle is completely rust free except for one small spot where the driver front wheel well meets the toe box/rocker (see pictures). The car is an eye catcher and presents very well. The interior is in very good condition. The black door panels really highlight the extra chrome only found on the earlier 113' s. The body work is not perfect. There’s a dent in the passenger front fender, a few dings here and there, and some of the trim is showing wear. The soft top is made out of vinyl and is not a proper Mercedes Benz part. It is nearly new in appearance, evidenced in the clarity of the rear window, however the passenger side of the top does need repair (presumably from mishandling). The vehicle has been updated with the next generation Mercedes Benz 2.5L engine (see pictures for engine numbers). It starts easily, runs strong, handles well, brakes well, and is all around fun and comfortable to drive.
